Community partnerships
Hotel Shiny Grand runs a small set of standing offers for Guwahati-area nonprofits, charity work and community organisations — both because Borjhar sits in the middle of an airport region where such rooms are genuinely useful, and because these organisations are part of our city's actual fabric. If your work touches Guwahati and you need a base near the airport, the door is open.
What we offer
Charity-rate rooms
Registered nonprofits, charitable trusts, and 80G-empanelled organisations receive a published charity rate on direct bookings — well below our standard rack rate, with the same 5-minute airport pickup and free breakfast. The rate applies to room nights for staff travel and to event accommodation tied to the organisation's work.
Free venue for donor drives
Our banquet hall is offered free of charge for registered blood-donor drives, organ-donation camps and recognised health-camp organisations serving the Borjhar and Guwahati area, subject to availability. The hall seats 100 and includes tables, chairs, basic A/V and a 24-hour front desk.
Group blocks for relief work
During Guwahati flood-relief operations, the property provides discounted room blocks (subject to availability) for NGOs and accredited volunteers, with flexible 24-hour check-in and on-site parking for relief vehicles. Contact us on +91 91815 56418 with the deploying organisation's credentials.
How to partner with us
Three things, in this order: (1) email infoshinygrand@gmail.com with your organisation's name, registration (12A / 80G / Society / Trust / Section 8) and the specific ask; (2) we respond within two working days confirming eligibility and what we can offer; (3) bookings go through WhatsApp or phone so we keep the dispatch simple.
We hold a quarterly log of partner organisations on file. New partners are reviewed monthly; the program is small on purpose so we can say yes quickly to the ones we take.
Who this page is also for
CSR teams at Guwahati corporates and foundations running travel-staff or beneficiary accommodation blocks for events in and around Borjhar — the same published charity rate applies, with a single point of contact for the whole block. We can also coordinate transportation to and from LGBI for visiting delegations.
Verified facts only: the property address, distance and capacity are on this site elsewhere (see location and directions, banquet hall and offers). Eligibility for charity rates is reviewed per organisation and is not retroactive to past bookings.
