This page explains what Hotel Shiny Grand does with information you give us. It applies to hotelshinygrand.online and to bookings made by phone, WhatsApp or email. Last updated 30 October 2026.

What we collect

When you enquire or book, we collect your name, phone number, email address if you give one, dates of stay, room or banquet requirement, and any note you send us such as a flight number or an arrival time. We keep booking records because Indian tax and hotel registration rules require it.

When you browse the site, analytics tools record pages visited, approximate location from your IP address, device type and how you arrived. The site uses Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, PostHog and Microsoft Clarity for this. Clarity records anonymised session replays of clicks and scrolling, not keystrokes in form fields.

What we do with it

We use booking details to hold your room, arrange your airport transfer, prepare your banquet quote and meet legal record-keeping duties. We do not sell your data. We do not add you to a marketing list unless you ask. Analytics data is used to see which pages and offers are useful.

Who sees it

Our front desk and management see booking details. Payment and messaging providers we use to run the hotel see what is needed to process a booking or deliver a message. We share data with authorities only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Booking and tax records are kept for the period Indian law requires. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's default settings. Enquiries that never become bookings are removed when they are no longer useful.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep. Write to infoshinygrand@gmail.com or message +91 91815 56418. We will respond within a reasonable time and tell you if a legal retention rule prevents deletion.

If you prefer not to be measured, most browsers let you block analytics scripts, and the site continues to work.
